The consumption of information and the channels through which it is obtained were decisive in the outcome of the recent elections in the United States. While Kamala Harris won by 8 percentage points among those who follow the news the most, Donald Trump led by 19 among those who are less informed. And that’s not all. The Democrat won with 57% among those who use traditional television channels as their main source, but lost by 6 points among those who prefer social media.
