Survivors 2025 is heading towards its final stretch. This Tuesday, Carlos Sobera, host of the Survivors: No Man’s Land galas, announced the program’s schedule leading to the finale. With only five contestants remaining, the show was expected to conclude in just a few days, but it was not until now that the exact date was revealed. It will be on Tuesday the 17th when the winner of this edition of the Telecinco star reality show will be announced.
Before the name of the winner is revealed on the 17th, and with the contestants already in Madrid, the semifinal of the program will take place this Thursday, which will include a new elimination, leaving four participants competing for the final prize of 200,000 euros. On Sunday, the final episode will be held from Honduras, closing the palapa and bidding farewell to the last contestants who have been living on the beaches for over three months. On Tuesday the 17th, the four finalists will arrive at the Mediaset facilities by helicopter, as is tradition in the program.
Survivors 2025 already has its first two finalists: Montoya and Anita. The duo, who became popular thanks to The Island of Temptations just weeks before this reality show began, already knows they will be boarding the helicopter in Madrid. They have also been the undeniable protagonists of this edition. José Carlos Montoya earned his finalist spot by winning the immunity challenge last Sunday, thus avoiding the final public vote. Meanwhile, Anita Williams was the contestant who received the most support among the four nominees, and on Tuesday, she was saved from elimination and declared a finalist at the same time.
The nominees are Damián Quintero, Álvaro Muñoz Escassi, and Borja González. One of them will be eliminated this Thursday, just missing the finale. Damián already knows what it’s like to be eliminated from the competition: he lost the vote a few weeks ago but re-entered after Álex Adrover was forced to leave due to injury.
Survivors 2025 has been delivering excellent ratings for Telecinco. The Thursday galas have consistently surpassed a 20% audience share on average, showing the best figures for the format since 2021. Tuesday’s episode had an average viewership of 1,321,000 and achieved a 20.8% share.
In Tuesday’s episode, contestants faced the table of temptations, which offers tempting rewards in exchange for various sacrifices. Damián chose to shave his head and serve under the leader, Montoya, for two days in exchange for two plates of milanesa with mashed potatoes and a blanket for his daughter. Borja accepted to be the only one in charge of fishing until the end of the program and could not eat any of the fish he caught in exchange for two pieces of a giant flan. Montoya opted for a giant hamburger in exchange for being tied to Damián for 48 hours. Escassi had to choose between a large plate of cannelloni in exchange for being confined in a box for 48 hours or a call with a significant person in his life in return for wearing a loincloth. He chose the call and was able to speak with his son and the child’s mother, Lara Dibildos.
Anita Williams had to make even greater sacrifices. The only woman remaining in the contest, Survivors offered her four pieces of lasagna and a video call with her son in exchange for cutting her hair by 45 centimeters (initially 20 centimeters, plus an additional 25 during the negotiation).
